Job DescriptionFinancial Regulatory Reporting Specialist

We are seeking a Financial Regulatory Reporting Specialist to join our Finance & Control unit, as part of a 2-year transformation program focused on digitalization, automation, and data management. The ideal candidate will have experience in financial regulatory reporting, with a strong understanding of accounting requirements and legal regulations.

The successful candidate will analyze requirements received from authorities, business, or finance related to regulatory and management accounting reports, understanding the impact from both an economic and technical perspective. They will also coordinate implementing changes from the reporting point of view, designing new processes, preparing change documentation, and ensuring technical implementation.

This role involves being the single point of contact for IT development teams and external service providers regarding finance changes related to accounting requirements. Strong analytical skills are required, along with the ability to work in a dynamic environment and adapt to changing situations.

Responsibilities:
  • Analyze requirements received from authorities, business, or finance related to regulatory and management accounting reports.
  • Coordinate implementing changes from the reporting point of view, including designing new processes, preparing change documentation, and ensuring technical implementation.
  • Be the single point of contact for IT development teams and external service providers regarding finance changes related to accounting requirements.
  • Conduct business analysis and technical analysis to identify specifications for development or implementation.
Requirements:
  • Relevant experience in financial regulatory reporting in banking, preferably with BIG 4 experience in financial services clients.
  • Strong understanding of accounting requirements and legal regulations, particularly in relation to banking products and services.
  • Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work in a continuously dynamic situation.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with a natural inclination for planning strategy and tactics.
  • Strong problem-solving and root cause identification skills.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
