Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Operations Manager to join our team at Recruiters and HR Advisors LATAM. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing hotel operations, recruiting, and training staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Interview, select, train, schedule, coach, and support associates to ensure they meet established brand or hotel standards.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction scores and work towards increasing departmental and overall guest satisfaction.
  • Resolve customer complaints and anticipate potential problems by reviewing operational issues, business flow, and associate performance.
  • Oversee property accounting functions, including accounts payable and receivable, house bank audits, petty cash, tax, budget generation, and P&L reviews.
  • Coordinate with the accounting department to oversee payroll functions.
  • Lead the sales effort, leveraging minimal sales staff and outside vendors to discuss and implement sales strategies to improve occupancy levels and revenues.
  • Monitor and maintain front and back-office systems and equipment to ensure optimum performance.
  • Oversee the Sales and Events department and assist with negotiations and proposal generation.
  • Create action plans to remedy guest service deficiencies.

Requirements

  • Proven three-year experience as Hotel Manager or relevant role in a Boutique hotel setting.
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of other languages is a plus.
  • Understanding of all hotel management best practices and relevant laws and guidelines.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office and Google Suite; knowledge of Opera Cloud hotel management software (PMS) is an advantage.
  • Revenue Management knowledge.
  • Excellent customer service skills and business acumen.

What We Offer

10% gross annual based salary. Bonus annual based on KPI (based on customer satisfaction, revenue, and others).
