**Job Overview**:

This position is a key member of the Americas Controller organization, reporting directly to the Americas EM Manager. As a Senior Financial Accountant, you will work closely with other members of the Finance organization, including FP&A, Corporate Tax, Corporate Accounting, and Regional Shared Service teams.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Manage the Americas EM general ledger department, performing all month-end close steps associated with services, production, and selling entities.
  • Support EM Business and global joint venture accounting, including inventory, cash, intercompany, accruals, 3rd party billing, and joint venture accounting.
  • Lead a team of up to 5 general ledger analysts, overseeing and managing the EM general US GAAP accounting function.
  • Primary accounting lead on any accounting issues encountered by plant controllers, FP&A, customer experience, supply chain, etc.
  • Review and approve recurring and non-recurring journal entries, monthly, quarterly, and yearly SOX controls, and account reconciliations.

**Requirements:**

  • Minimum 5 years public or private accounting experience.
  • Inventory accounting experience is required.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is required.
  • GL accounting experience is strongly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of basic accounting concepts, including cost accounting, inventory, VAT taxes, and foreign exchange.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or related discipline, is strongly preferred.
  • CPA or equivalent is strongly preferred.
