Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Regulatory Advisor to join our team at 09516 Banco Nacional de Mexico, S.A., integrante del Grupo Financiero Banamex. As a key member of our Compliance and Control team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effective implementation and execution of our Regulatory Reporting Ownership Procedure (RROP) in Mexico.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct compliance assessments to ensure alignment between regulatory requirements and established ARCMs, including definition, analysis, and control assessment.
  • Support the implementation of RROP across Business Lines and support functions, enhancing current escalation procedures to ensure data quality and regulatory compliance.
  • Monitor risk acceptances and provide business support, performing credible challenges for new risk acceptances and renewals.
  • Partner with internal groups to recommend solutions for implementing RROP and its responsibilities, according to assigned roles.
  • Assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets.
  • Resolve complicated situations through the utilization of roles and responsibilities matrix and defined process and standards.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of prior experience in regulatory compliance related work – Internal Audit, Risk management, Regulatory Reporting process.
  • Knowledge of regulatory risks and control frameworks.
  • Proficient computer skills with a focus on Microsoft Office applications.
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication.
  • Demonstrated analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and relationship skills.
  • Outstanding attention to detail.
  • Experience with Data Analysis also preferred.
Education
  • Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience.
