As a Solutions Engineer at GumGum, you will play a pivotal role in our technical problem-solving team, utilizing your expertise in publisher integration types to drive strategic partnerships and customer success. This role requires a deep understanding of the strategic partnerships team's needs and customers, as well as the ability to handle both trivial and mid-level technical matters.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the North America Publisher Success team on technical publisher issues, including ad placement, advanced metrics reporting, and discrepancies.
  • Providing pre-sale technical support to the North America Publisher Partnerships team.
  • Leading technical publisher calls for onboarding and troubleshooting.
  • Advocating for Publisher team needs to Product/Engineering teams.
  • Influencing product decisions and priorities by working with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Resolving JIRA tickets from the Publisher Support queue promptly.
  • Developing best practice documentation and educational materials.
  • Resolving discrepancies using data analysis and technical expertise.
  • Collaborating with JAPAC & EMEA counterparts for knowledge sharing.

Requirements include:

  • Bachelor's Degree or similar educational certification.
  • 1-2 years of experience in technical support and troubleshooting.
  • Experience in AdTech industry and with SSPs preferred.
  • Proficient with Web Developer Tools.
  • Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Knowledge of ad servers/SSPs (Google Ad Manager, Xandr).
  • Familiarity with auction-based ad-serving methodologies such as OpenRTB and Header bidding.
  • Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Detail-oriented, solution-focused, resourceful, and independent.
  • Ownership mentality and ability to perform under pressure.

GumGum offers a competitive base pay range of $86,000 - $103,000 annually, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including an employer-matched 401(k) retirement plan and opportunities for professional growth and development.
