**Job Summary**
We are seeking an experienced Senior Controls Engineer for Paint Shop Automation to join our team. This temporary position is ideal for a motivated individual who wants to contribute their skills and experience to a dynamic project.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Support the automation team at customer sites
- Develop and implement PLC and HMI programs using Siemens software (TIA Portal V17 and above)
- Install and commission PLCs in paint shops
- Plan and develop controls and PLC hardware/software for new paint shop areas
- Document projects accurately
**Requirements**
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechatronics, Electronics, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation, Controls, Robotics Engineering
- +5 years of experience in CONVEYORS (POWER AND FREE) and PAINTSHOP PLC PROGRAMMING
- Highly experienced in Siemens hardware and software, including E-plan knowledge and vision systems
- Knowledge of automotive industry protocols, such as serial, ethernet, devicenet, profinet, and Profibus communication protocols
**Estimated Salary**: We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
