**About the Role:**

We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Operations Strategy Specialist to join our team at Polaris Inc. This is an exciting opportunity to drive change and innovation in our operations strategy, develop and refine standard processes, and identify value creation opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand and analyze our current Manufacturing Optimization approach and its impact on Long Range Plans (LRP).
  • Support ongoing refinement by providing analytical contributions and practical insights.
  • Develop and document process improvements as standard work, utilizing our growing toolbox of operations processes.
  • Network with stakeholders across various departments and locations to facilitate alignment and drive incremental value Polaris-wide.
  • Use creative thinking and problem-solving skills to identify new value creation opportunities related to make vs buy manufacturing plans.
  • Measure and validate the value of various opportunities using analytics.
  • Build awareness and agreement for specific value creation projects and get key participants on board.
  • Execute the implementation of insourcing and outsourcing projects, ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and cost expectations are met.
  • Communicate progress and drive Operational Excellence initiatives, including 5S, value-stream mapping, standard work, cell design, pull systems, single piece flow, Kanban, SMED, and TPM/OEE.

About You:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, General Business, or a related field is required.
  • A Master's degree in Supply Chain or a related field is preferred, as well as relevant industry experience.
  • You should have a proven track record of improving processes and solving problems, with the ability to lead and influence cross-functional groups towards a common goal.
  • Around 20% travel may be required for site and supplier visits.

Estimated Salary:$80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
