Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Unit Leader to join our team at Stellantis. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading our Body Shop operations and ensuring the implementation of safety and environmental standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies to sustain safety standards and environmental policies in all areas, ensuring compliance with OSHAS 18K and other relevant regulations.
- Implement countermeasures to address unsafe conditions and near misses, working closely with staff to identify and mitigate risks.
- Conduct job risk analysis and ensure the implementation of procedures to guarantee health and safety in departments and the complete body shop.
- Manage daily operations of the body shop, including shop floor management, production planning, and quality metrics.
- Ensure the maintenance of TMS systems to prevent machine breakdowns and eliminate forced degradation.
- Manage training, vacations, and labor relations, ensuring compliance with collective work contracts.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve Total Cost (TC) and reduce expenses related to manpower, materials, and services.
- Implement Business Processes (BP) established on Standardized Process Work (SPW) based on technical domains.
- Plan weekly manpower planning for maintenance leaders and specialists, evaluating and planning maintenance needs during production shutdowns.
- Provide feedback to the VPE team, CoC, and OEM to prevent issues and ensure maintainability of installed and new equipment.
- Support initiatives to reach Stellantis Production System (SPS) targets, ensuring positive trends in Lost Time Frequency (LTF) and Energy KPIs.
- Ensure the availability of spares and consumables for machines related to the technology they are in charge of.
Requirements
- Proven experience in leading business operations and implementing safety and environmental standards.
- Strong knowledge of OSHAS 18K and other relevant regulations.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to analyze data and develop strategies to improve performance.
- Experience with Business Processes (BP) and Standardized Process Work (SPW).
- Strong understanding of technical domains and maintenance operations.
