Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Purchasing Manager to join our team at Linking Corp. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for leading the purchasing function and driving strategic sourcing initiatives to achieve cost savings and improve efficiency.
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead the purchasing team and manage day-to-day activities, ensuring timely completion of tasks and administration of data, time entry, and approvals.
- Develop and implement annual purchasing plans, prepare monthly reports, and track progress towards targets.
- Responsible for meeting purchasing targets in Mexico operations, including capital equipment, machined products, and outside processing.
- Supervise local purchasing team members, manage their activities, and ensure they meet their targets.
- Perform buyer responsibilities for set commodities, including sending benchmark RFQs, raising contracts and purchase orders, and negotiating with suppliers.
- Formulate plans to achieve savings targets, generate business intelligence reports, and present findings to stakeholders.
- Meet Mexico savings targets for each plant and contribute to non-purchasing targets, such as stock reduction and internal plant improvements.
Requirements:
- 10 years of experience as a purchasing manager in the automotive industry.
- Advanced proficiency in English and Spanish.
- Experience with global suppliers in Asia and Europe.
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to drive cost savings.
- Leadership skills and ability to manage a team.
- Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to think outside the box.
Working Conditions:
- Full-time employment.
- Salary: $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per month.
- On-site work.
