Position Overview
The Financial Controlling Specialist will play a pivotal role in the analysis and interpretation of financial statements for the Business Division in the Mexico subregion.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver monthly financial results to the Finance team in the Mexico subregion.
- Conduct monthly financial reviews for VLS Mexico, presenting findings to the VLS business division controller and the President.
- Collaborate closely with the business division controller, legal entity controllers, and financial accounting teams.
- Analyze, monitor, and present overhead expenses, investments, and project-related financials.
- Manage daily operational activities related to the business division.
- Assist in the development and tracking of project/product/business profitability analyses.
- Support internal and external audit requirements.
- Oversee month-end closing processes.
- Engage in budgeting and forecasting for Mexico VLS P&L positions and KPIs.
- Act as a strategic business partner to the CEO of the division.
Required Skills
- 3-5 years of professional experience in financial planning, reporting, and business controlling.
- Proficient in both written and spoken English.
- Experience with SAP is preferred.
- Strong critical thinking skills with a focus on achieving results.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, including analytical functions.
- A sense of responsibility, creativity, perseverance, and commitment to goals.
- Structured approach, resilience, initiative, and independence.
- Ability to work under pressure and strong teamwork skills.
