Thales is seeking a Jr. Materials Planner to ensure optimal inventory levels and guarantee production continuity. The ideal candidate will analyze and prepare recovery plans in case of risks or delays of materials versus plan.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure optimal levels of PVC & Overlays inventory to guarantee stock availability to attend the Production Forecast and Volumes Objectives by doing Materials stock revisions, MRP run analysis and Purchase Orders elaboration.
- Analyze and prepare recovery plans in case of risks or delays of Materials vs Plan.
- Establish strong partnership relationships with suppliers to facilitate improvements in quality, cost, and overall responsiveness.
- Maintain Corporate MSOH Goals while avoiding Production Impacts due to lack of Materials.
- Continuously improve processes and the area.
- Degree in Administration, Engineering, or related field.
- 2-4 years of progressive experience in planning, purchasing, or procurement.
- Fluent in English, both oral and written.
- Strong knowledge of Demand Planning and Inventories administration experience is required.
- Advanced experience with Excel.
- ERP knowledge would be beneficial (SAP, Oracle).
- Strong communicator and negotiator, analytical, results-oriented, customer-oriented, a strong time manager, autonomous, honest, and empathetic.
