Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Database Administrator to join our team at Manpower S.A. de C.V. in Mexico. As a key member of our Cloud Operations team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our database infrastructure to ensure high availability, performance, and security.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement optimal database solutions using Oracle, PostgreSQL, and Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Develop and maintain database scripts using PL/SQL, bash, ksh, and PowerShell.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot database performance issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal system availability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical issues and implement new features.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in database administration, cloud computing, and security.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in database administration, preferably in a 24x7 SaaS environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle, PostgreSQL, and Microsoft SQL Server, including database performance tuning and optimization.
  • Experience with AWS, including migrations, deployments, and automation.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
