We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Research Data Scientist to join our Data Science team at Medallia. As a key member of our team, you will lead cutting-edge research in artificial intelligence and machine learning applications, driving innovation and excellence in our products and services.
Key Responsibilities- Design and execute research projects to develop and apply AI/ML models for natural language understanding, action recommendation, and representation learning.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that enhance customer experiences and drive business outcomes.
- Develop and maintain expertise in machine learning platforms, including Kubeflow, SageMaker, and VertexAI.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in AI/ML, and apply this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement in our products and services.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3+ years of relevant work experience in software development, data science, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in Python and experience with data wrangling, analysis, and machine learning frameworks, including TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, and Spacy.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
We welcome candidates with:
- MS or PhD degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related technical discipline.
- Experience with large language models, natural language processing, and representation learning.
- Strong understanding of machine learning platforms and their applications.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
