Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Logistics and Customs Specialist. This role will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of import and export operations, while maintaining compliance with Customs regulations and other government agency requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Classify and maintain product dictionaries to ensure accurate product descriptions, tariff classifications, country of origin, and ECCNs.
  • Develop and manage end-to-end trade compliance processes and documents.
  • Perform and manage cross-dock shipments, including identifying inbound shipments, tracking delivery, and reviewing forwarding requirements.
  • Coordinate order releases with Order Administration to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Obtain and manage onforward documents as needed.
Requirements
  • 4-year college degree or minimum 4 years of import/customs brokerage related work experience.
  • 4-year shipping and transportation experience required.
  • Minimum 4-year customer service experience required.
  • Advanced communication skills in English (90%).
  • Working knowledge and experience in import processes, customs brokerage functions, and international logistics processes.
  • Proficient knowledge and understanding of Export Administration requirements (ECCN) rules and regulations.
