**Job Summary**:
We are seeking a highly experienced Sr. Engineering Manager to lead our engineering teams in the Electrification Area in Apodaca, Nuevo Leon. As a key player in our organization, you will be responsible for providing strategic direction, leadership, and coordination of the Engineering function within a local division or product group.
**Responsibilities**:
- Align the unit's strategy with global strategy and ensure operational development, including profit and loss.
- Provide input to the local division or product group strategy and act as a key player in its implementation and in strengthening a business model relevant to the scope of engineering.
- Lead engineering teams responsible for several products or sector areas and ensure delivery of a portfolio of projects on time, in full.
- Provide direction to the teams with a focus on safety, on-time delivery, quality, and margin improvement.
- Build and maintain customer relationships, seeking feedback, and providing innovative solutions to meet customer requirements and deliver improvements.
- Ensure that engineering teams are adequately resourced, developed, and equipped to meet business needs.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in Electromechanical Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Electrical Engineer, or similar engineering.
- 7+ years of management experience with increasing responsibility and scope as engineering manager.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and knowledge in power systems and protection-related matters.
- Familiarity and practical experience with CREO, SolidWorks, Windchill, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Project, PowerPoint, SAP, and other applicable software.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated with a high level of creativity.
- Complex problem-solving and strong conflict resolution skills required.
- Experience in dealing with the cultural diversity of a global business environment.
- Travel required approximately 5%.
