Job Description:
The Manufacturing Application Specialist will work closely with the On-Site Subject Matter Expert to interpret and gather requirements for IT requests and enhancements.
This role involves working on projects that require implementing technology, processes, or services to meet business requirements.
The successful candidate will investigate complex technical and business problems, diagnose issues, and provide effective and efficient alternatives.
Responsibilities include prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures, and implementing practical business solutions under multiple deadlines.
Additionally, this role requires participating in FDA Computer Software Validation activities and providing GxP validation support.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
An associate degree in computer science, computer engineering, information systems, or equivalent work experience is required.
The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of hands-on experience in manufacturing applications, as well as experience with OS-level configurations on servers and workstations.
Strong problem-solving and process improvement skills are essential, along with excellent verbal and written communication skills, and time management abilities.
The individual should demonstrate initiative, exercise good judgment, exhibit strong profit orientation, and be able to achieve results through others.
