About the Role

Magna International Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Accounting Specialist to join our team in Mexico. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for supporting the accounting of 4 corporate entities.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Accounts Payable Process: Audit invoices, system posting, and bank proof of payment submission to vendors.
  2. Electronic Invoicing: Generate electronic invoices for the Real Estate entity and collect payments.
  3. Expense Reporting: Audit and GL record Concur expense reports and cash advances.
  4. Balance Sheet Reconciliations: Reconcile intercompany accounts, VAT, accrual accounts, and bank accounts.
  5. Real Estate Accounting: Manage real estate accounting, month-end activities, and tax reporting.
  6. Closing Activities: Participate in closing activities and report on tax provisional payments.
  7. Cash Forecasting: Forecast cash requirements for USD and MXN.
  8. Payroll and VAT Reporting: Process payroll requests, cash advances, and expense reimbursements, and report on VAT.
  9. Fixed Assets Management: Manage fixed assets, GL, and reporting activities.
Requirements
  1. 2 years of experience in similar positions.
  2. Strong Microsoft Office skills.
  3. SAP and One Stream experience a plus.
  4. Closing, forecasting, and budgeting participation.
