- Installation and Testing: Execute the installation of connections (ESX, servers, storage) and system software, adhering to established procedures.
- Monitoring: Assess the impact on production and ensure the operability of proposed solutions while managing project security constraints.
- Technical Leadership: Define the roadmap for infrastructure advancements, including new hardware and software strategies.
- Service Development: Outline the roadmap for changes in services provided to internal clients.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience with VMware, Citrix, Storage, and Windows Server.
- Preferred knowledge of Linux operating systems.
- Certifications in VMware, Citrix, and NetApp are advantageous.
- At least 7 years of experience in server hardware maintenance and support.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Expertise in Data Storage Solutions administration (NetApp, EMC preferred).
- Familiarity with Server/Storage hardware (Dell, HP, EMC, NetApp preferred).
- Advanced VMware Administration skills, including proficiency with vSphere and vSAN.
- Expertise in Citrix App and Desktop Virtualization.
- Advanced knowledge of Systems Backup Technologies (Veritas, Commvault preferred).
