We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Analyst to join our team at Sensata Technologies. As a Tax Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of our tax returns.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal laws.
- Maintain and reconcile all tax general ledger accounts, evaluating account balances and preparing tax returns and schedules.
- Analyze accounting information and prepare required paperwork, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
- Maintain all accounting and tax information, evaluating work papers and preparing drafts of state returns within timeframe.
- Administer and ensure compliance with monthly activities, staying up-to-date on tax laws and changes.
- Analyze transactions and recommend alternatives, providing efficient responses to tax inquiries and required certificates.
- A university degree and 4-6 years of experience, or a graduate degree and 2-4 years of experience, or a higher level degree and 0-2 years of experience.
- Strong communication skills, oral, written, and presentation.
- Strong organization, planning, and time management skills to achieve results.
- Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity.
- Holds self-accountable to achieving goals and standards.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization.
