Wireless Network Engineer

The Senior Wireless Network Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining Novartis Next-Generation Wireless infrastructure. This involves working with wireless protocols, technologies, and infrastructure to establish reliable and efficient communication between systems and users.
Key Responsibilities- Design, implement, and maintain LAN and WAN networks
- Configure and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and other networking equipment
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for network-related issues
- Perform network monitoring and capacity planning to ensure optimal network performance
- Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration of network infrastructure with other systems
- Develop and maintain documentation related to network infrastructure and operations
- Participate in network security initiatives and ensure compliance with security policies
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Required: Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or CCIE or equivalent level from other vendors
- Commitment to ongoing professional development through courses, workshops, and seminars to stay current with evolving technologies and industry standards
8+ years of experience in designing and implementing next-gen wireless networks. Previous experience of working as a SME/Lead Engineer for Cisco Wireless.
Skills and Knowledge- Working experience with a wide range of Cisco & Meraki Wireless Product Family
- Experience with Cisco AireOS & Catalyst Controllers
- Network management platforms like Cisco Catalyst center (D-NAC) and ISE
Business fluent in English (written and spoken)
