Project Coordinator for North Latin America in Beauty Sector

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Project Manager for North Latin America in the Beauty Sector who will report directly to the PMO Manager for North Latin America in Beauty. This role is pivotal in overseeing product development VALUE and application projects across designated territories and clients within the B+H portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and implement New Product Development (VALUE) projects in accordance with the Stage-Gate process.
  • Develop and maintain the Project Charter.
  • Gather requirements (USR) and establish project scope.
  • Collaborate with the Quotation Manager to manage project scenarios.
  • Facilitate project kick-off meetings alongside the Quotation Manager.
  • Engage with project stakeholders and oversee change management.
  • Formulate a comprehensive project communication plan.
  • Create and manage the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and project schedule.
  • Oversee project budget and financials.
  • Coordinate with Product Design, Engineering, and Industrialization teams to monitor technical project aspects.
  • Work with the Quotation Manager and Finance team to track economic and financial project metrics.
  • Conduct project risk assessments.
  • Lead product debugging during the qualification phase.
  • Support product qualification at customer filling lines.
  • Manage samples for both VALUE and Application projects.
  • Coordinate metrology analysis and laboratory testing for product development.
  • Initiate the codification process in the ERP system with the Product Value Engineering and Data Management team.
  • Conduct launch meetings.
  • Perform technical and financial post-launch assessments.
  • Administer customer satisfaction surveys regarding project execution.
  • Facilitate project closure and lessons learned meetings.
  • Integrate VALUE projects within Planisware.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related business field.
  • Postgraduate education in project management or business administration is preferred.
  • PMI certification or equivalent is a plus.

Language Proficiency

  • Advanced English skills are required.

Experience

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in similar roles.
  • Experience in the packaging industry or B2B environments is advantageous.
  • Experience in multinational and multicultural organizations is desirable.

  • Experience working in multicultural teams, either leading or being guided towards specific outcomes.
  • Exceptional communication skills, including the ability to tell compelling stories and provide training.
