About the Job:

We are looking for a qualified lawyer to support our North America Health & Wellbeing business unit, focusing on supply chain and procurement matters.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide commercial contract support to brand and procurement teams, including negotiation, drafting, and review of contracts.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to manage high-volume and complex commercial agreements.
  • Collaborate with the brand, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure timely execution and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Regularly track ongoing projects, present updates to legal management, and document fully executed agreements in our system.
  • Counsel on contractual inquiries, potential compensation claims, and provide guidance on non-compliances.
  • Communicate effectively with the legal team and business partners to anticipate and solve problems before they occur.

Requirements:

  • Qualified lawyer with at least 5 years of post-law degree experience, including deep experience in negotiation and drafting of complex commercial contracts in English.
  • Proficient in English with ability to fluently and organically communicate.
  • Experience with negotiating U.S. contracts for U.S.-based clients.
  • Understanding of the U.S. legal system.
  • Knowledge of and ability to issue-spot complex legal issues, including contractual terms that raise resilience, financial or value leakage risks.
  • Experience with managing high-volume work and multiple stakeholders.
  • Flexibility, maturity, self-confidence, and enthusiasm with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Great communication and organizational skills, with attention to detail, speed, and accuracy.
  • Ability to understand and adapt to the work culture and standard communication style within US-based teams.
  • Willingness and drive for problem-solving and process excellence, and for adopting new legal technologies to drive efficiencies.
  • Ability to prioritize and switch between multiple tasks.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; experience in using AI technology tools a plus.
