Key Responsibilities- Provide expert-level technical support to customers, troubleshooting complex technical issues related to Oracle Exadata and other areas such as Real Application Clusters, High Availability, Data Guard, and more.
- Work closely with customers, other support engineers, and developers to deliver a superior ownership experience.
- Develop and deliver training, knowledge sessions, and mentoring to achieve knowledge transfer and improve team efficiency.
- Analyze workload, determine best practices, and implement changes to improve productivity.
- Contribute to increasing team efficiency by sharing knowledge, providing feedback on best practices, and writing tools and utilities.
- Technical degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Physics, or Chemistry, or proven professional and technical experience.
- Greater than 10 years of industry experience.
- Hands-on experience with Database administration on UNIX/Linux and/or L3 level support engineer experience.
- Expertise in Exadata Administration, Real Application Cluster (RAC), Dataguard, and ASM/Storage areas.
- Operating systems expertise, SA, and general awareness of other areas mentioned below.

As a member of the CSS organization, your focus is to deliver post-sales support and solutions to the Oracle customer base while serving as an advocate for customer needs. This involves resolving post-sales non-technical customer inquiries via phone and electronic means, as well as, technical questions regarding the use of and troubleshooting for our Electronic Support Services.
A primary point of contact for customers, you are responsible for facilitating customer relationships with Support and providing advice and assistance to internal Oracle employees on diverse customer situations and escalated issues.
