Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Product Manager to join our Global Selling team at Amazon. The successful candidate will be responsible for simplifying the selling experience for Latin American merchants, enabling them to sell in other countries.
About the Role
The Senior Product Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement solutions that address the unique needs of Latin American sellers. This includes:
- Developing a deep understanding of the Latin American seller landscape, including their motivations, pain points, and growth aspirations globally.
- Defining a product vision and strategic roadmap of solutions to empower Latin American sellers to succeed in global markets.
- Leading the development and delivery of high-quality features and tools addressing Latin American sellers' unique needs.
- Fostering a culture of continuous experimentation and learning to drive innovation.
- Collaborating with central and regional teams to leverage global best practices and insights.
- Establishing metrics and KPIs to measure success and refine the product roadmap.
- Obtaining regular feedback from business leaders to maintain executive support.
- Using data-driven insights to improve solutions and prioritize high-impact new features.
- Analyzing international consumer demand and shopping behavior to identify high-potential product categories and gaps.
- Collaborating with local merchandising teams to understand consumer preferences and optimize global product assortment.
- Developing processes to surface and prioritize opportunities to expand the global catalog and serve international consumers.
- Establishing data-driven selection planning to advise Latin American sellers on expansion opportunities.
- Defining mechanisms to identify high-potential Latin American brands and products for global markets.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development, or technology experience.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition.
- Experience with end-to-end product delivery.
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product.
- Experience as a product manager or owner.
- Experience owning technology products.
Preferred Qualifications
We are looking for candidates with:
- Experience in influencing senior leadership through data-driven insights.
- Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders.
