We are seeking a highly experienced Drilling and Workover Operations Supervisor to join our team at LHR Global - Saudi Arabia. As a key member of our Drilling and Workover department, you will be responsible for supervising and overseeing the operations of contract drilling or workover rigs working for us engaged in carrying out programmed work.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and Oversee Operations: Ensure that all operations performed on our wells are carried out safely and efficiently.
- Make Recommendations: Provide recommendations on alternative methods or equipment when unusual situations are encountered.
- Coordinate Deliveries: Coordinate deliveries of materials to the well to ensure that they are available when required.
- Ensure Contractor Compliance: Ensure that the contractor meets all requirements of their contract.
- Work with Engineers: Work with Drilling and Workover engineers to ensure that modern drilling practices are followed.
- Approve Daily Reports: Approve the contractor's daily tour report.
- Maintain Equipment: Ensure that the contractor's rig and equipment are properly maintained to avoid downtime.
- Perform Miscellaneous Duties: Perform other miscellaneous duties as directed by the Superintendent.
- Ensure Safety Standards: Ensure that our blowout prevention standards are met in all respects, including equipment configuration, testing, and crew response.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering: A bachelor's degree in engineering with 7 years of experience working in drilling and workover operations, including adequate supervisory experience on a drilling or workover rig.
- Or Completion of ITC: Or completion of ITC: English, ERW, Math, MI with 13 years relevant experience in drilling and workover operations, including supervisory experience generally acquired by progression on a drilling or workover rig.
- Willingness to Live in Remote Areas: Willingness to live in remote areas in mobile camps.
- Monthly Base Salary: A monthly base salary aligned with company employees with similar skills.
- Monthly Overbase: A monthly overbase of 25% of your monthly base salary.
- Benefits Supplement: A benefits supplement of 20% of your monthly base salary, after 3 years of service, increasing to 25% of base, after 6 years 30% of base, and after 12 years 35% of base.
- Severance Package: A severance package with a 2-year vest period, including 2 weeks' pay for each year of service, increasing to 4 weeks' pay for each year after year 6.
- Employment Tax: Exemption from employment tax if you choose to separate yourself from your 'home country' for income tax purposes.
- Employee Share Purchase Plan: Eligibility for the Employee Share Purchase Plan (ESPP) after 12 months of service, with a maximum purchase equal to 10% monthly base pay and a 20% share discount.
- Incentive Plan: An annual incentive plan based on performance, with an approximate value of 1.8x monthly base salary.
- Travel Allowance: An annual travel allowance of approximately $8,200 per household member 11+ years old residing in Saudi Arabia and $6,000 per household member under 11 years old.
- Vacation and Paid Holidays: 38 vacation days, 4 travel days, and 11-13 paid holidays.
- Medical and Dental Plan: Complimentary in-Kingdom Johns Hopkins medical care and facilities for employee and eligible family members, with subsidized in-Kingdom dental services.
- Educational Assistance Plan: An Educational Assistance Plan (EAP) with out-of-Kingdom assistance of 90% of expenses, with a maximum per child of the lesser of 5x monthly base salary or the company max ($48.5K), plus 3 round-trip economy air travel tickets, and in-Kingdom assistance of 2x monthly base salary or the company max ($16.3K).
- Settling in Allowance: A one-time settling in allowance of 100% of monthly base salary for family status and 60% of monthly base salary for single/bachelor status.
