Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement materials planning and procurement strategies to meet business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams to improve material flow and reduce costs
- Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate contracts and improve supply chain efficiency
- Analyze and optimize material requirements planning systems and processes
- Develop and implement Lean material flow concepts and systems
- Provide coaching and mentoring to team members to improve their skills and knowledge
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field
- 10+ years of experience in materials planning and procurement, with a minimum of 5-7 years in material requirement planning systems
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and team building skills
- Strong management, communication, and leadership skills
- Ability to analyze complex situations and problems, and develop effective solutions
- Experience with MRP and ERP systems, Lean principles, and tools such as Value Stream Mapping and Material Flow
- APICS or other Materials Planning certification
- Master's degree in a related field
- Experience with IBP/SIOP in a supply planning capacity
- Lean practitioner and/or Six Sigma certification
- Ability to travel up to 25%
