Key Responsibilities- Threat Detection and Response: Utilize advanced threat detection tools and techniques to identify and respond to potential security threats in a timely and effective manner.
- Security Operations: Partner with internal security teams to ensure the security and integrity of our organization's systems and data.
- Incident Management: Develop and implement incident management plans and procedures to ensure effective response to security incidents.
- Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, including security teams, IT, and management, to ensure timely and effective response to security incidents.
- Security Monitoring: Monitor security event logs and system activity to identify potential security threats and take corrective action as necessary.
- Security Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of security incidents to identify root causes and develop recommendations for prevention and mitigation.
- Security Reporting: Provide regular security reports to management and stakeholders to ensure transparency and accountability.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, or related field.
- Experience: At least 3-6 years of experience in security incident response and SOC operations.
- Skills: Strong technical understanding of network/OS fundamentals and common Internet protocols, experience with threat detection tools and techniques, and excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Certifications: Certifications such as GCIH, GCIA, GSEC, CEH, Security+, SSCP.
