Job Responsibilities

As a Senior Cybersecurity Consultant at Danfoss, you will play a key role in collaborating with infrastructure and applications teams to respond to cyber security incidents. Your responsibilities will include facilitating security incident investigation, assessment, containment, and mitigation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with teams to respond to cyber security incidents
  • Facilitate security incident investigation, assessment, containment, and mitigation
  • Conduct vulnerability discovery and assessment
  • Develop and implement security detection use cases and playbooks
  • Train and guide Tier 1 consultants on security tools and processes
  • Lead service and technical areas to drive service implementation and improvement
  • Oversee monitoring, triage, and reporting of security events
  • Act as escalation point for Tier 1 consultants on security events
  • Conduct security investigations and validate incident scale, impact, and severity
  • Perform threat hunting and health checks within security tool chains
  • Follow threat intelligence and threat landscape development to enhance security incident response and vulnerability management
  • Interact with stakeholders to align and implement security controls to prevent cyber security incidents
  • Consume security threat feeds and conduct security assessments to identify weaknesses and assist in remediation

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Sciences, or a similar field
  • Certifications from accredited bodies, including CISSP, CISA, GIAC/CISM/CCIE/CCNA, or other specialized security certifications
  • 7-10 years of IT experience, including infrastructure and applications development or support experience, with a focus on IT security, security operations centers, or computer incident response teams
  • At least 3 years of experience with Microsoft security landscape, including Microsoft Defender ATP, Microsoft Cloud App Security, Office ATP, Azure AD Identity Protection, Azure Security Center, Azure Sentinel, or Splunk
  • Knowledge of ITIL processes, ISO 27002 information security standard, and information security incident response processes
  • Minimum 3-5 years of information security experience, risk management, audit, security incident response, and vulnerability-related experience, with previous developer experience preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills to communicate with the IT team and stakeholders
  • Presentation skills to clearly and effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
  • Research skills to investigate incidents and document findings
  • Continuous learning ability to maintain and update current knowledge of industry best practices for information technology security
