Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Trade Compliance Specialist to join our team at oilandgas. This is a unique opportunity to work with a world-class company and make a significant impact on our operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintaining Compliance: Ensure and maintain compliance with Mexican and American Laws, Rules, and Regulations with the purpose that the company acquires and maintains in force the necessary certifications to carry out the production, importation, and exportation of materials.
  • Inventory Control: Analyze and review monthly variations between the Inventory Control System and Oracle, implementing necessary improvements and coordinating corrective actions.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Implement and maintain the necessary controls to maintain CTPAT certification and seek AEO certification.
  • Process Improvement: Support the development and improvement of department processes.
  • Reporting and Follow-up: Maintain reports and follow-up related to imports and exports to ensure compliance with the IMMEX program.
Requirements:
  • Strong Understanding: A strong understanding of customs documentation and procedures.
  • Trade Compliance Experience: 3 or more years of validated trade compliance experience in the specified region.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of Regulations: Good knowledge of Mexican Customs Law and Foreign Trade Rules (RGCE) and other applicable import/export regulations.
  • Certifications: Experience obtaining and maintaining IVA and AEO certifications.
