Job Description

Forvia, a leading technology company in the sustainable mobility sector, is seeking a skilled Warranty Engineer to join its team in San Juan del Río, Querétaro.

Your Mission

As a Warranty Engineer, you will be responsible for analyzing the external behavior of Forvia products, identifying the root cause of problems, and developing action plans to eliminate them. You will work closely with various departments to ensure the quality of our products and provide excellent customer service.

Your Responsibilities
  • Analyze customer complaints and identify the root cause of problems
  • Develop and implement action plans to eliminate problems and improve product quality
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective problem-solving and quality improvement
  • Provide feedback to areas responsible for reported field problems and coordinate the preparation of action plans
  • Participate in the validation of the implementation of countermeasures in production areas
  • Attend training courses to reinforce and update your knowledge and skills
  • Apply and supervise the performance of the 5 "S" in your workplace and area
  • Update organization manuals, forms, and instructions and procedures of the Integrated Management, Environmental, and Materials System
  • Coordinate the direct work of analysis carried out by Warranty and Service Technicians
  • Participate in conducting internal audits of the Company's Quality System
  • Support and participate in the creation of methods to ensure the performance of the site's management systems
Your Profile and Competencies

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering or equivalent
  • At least 1 year of experience in Quality, Production, or Engineering, as well as in the management of quality systems in supplier companies of the automobile industry
  • Basic knowledge in interpretation of FMEA, Control Plan, SPC, and Internal Audits
  • Experience in applying 8D's methodology
  • Management and interpretation of databases to identify the main problems and trends with clients using Pareto diagrams
  • Skills and competencies in leadership, autonomy, active team membership, communication, and management within a multidisciplinary team environment
  • Desirable 70% English language proficiency
  • Basic knowledge of Mexican health, safety, energy, and environmental standards
  • Basic knowledge and identification of environmental aspects and impacts
