At TENNECO, we are seeking a highly skilled Financial Services Manager to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to leverage your expertise in financial management to drive business growth and success.


Scope of the Job:


As a Financial Services Manager, you will be responsible for managing and controlling the company's funds, as well as the accounting records of banking operations. This includes administration and management of payroll approvals, validation, and revision of payment processes, review of accounting records, and more.


Responsibilities:



  • Control of access to the bank accounts of legal entities Monroe Mexico, Tenneco Mexico, Tenneco Automotive Servicios Mexico, Monroe Holding, and Tenneco International Manufacturing (TIMSA).
  • Contact with the bank's account executives.
  • Contact Corporate Treasurer.
  • Validation, revision, and/or approval of payment processes to suppliers, employees, social security contributions, taxes, etc.
  • Review of accounting records of payment transactions.
  • Review of bank account sweep records.
  • Review of bank reconciliations.
  • Revision of operations and reconciliation of balance with the subsidiary entity Servicio de Componentes Automotrices S de RL de CV (SEDECA) and TIMSA.
  • Review and validation of the Hedge at the end of each month as well as of the accounting records.
  • Monthly cash flow forecast.
  • Review, control, and management of the operations of the legal entity Tenneco Automotive Servicios Mexico (TASM).
  • Review, control, and management of the operations of the legal entity Monroe Holding.
  • Review reconciliations of the balance sheet accounts of TASM and Monroe Holding.
  • Administration of payroll validation and approval processes for Monroe Mexico, Tenneco Mexico, and TASM entities.
  • Administration of the proper calculation and payment of payroll-related taxes.
  • Administration of payroll accounting records.
  • Review of balance sheet reconciliations of payroll-related accounts.
  • Administration of the equipment that manages the electronic invoicing processes (XMLs) of clients, payroll, and suppliers and the respective payment complements of legal entities Monroe Mexico, Tenneco Mexico, TASM, and Monroe Holding.

  • Act as Facilitator for training processes related to the area and/or Environmental, Safety, and Quality Management Systems.

  • All activities required by the position must be carried out through strict compliance with the procedures and policies established by the company.
  • Actively participate in emergency preparedness and response programs.
  • Stop processes and/or activities that endanger personnel, the environment, or facilities.

For Managers, Supervisors, Leaders, and Auditors:



  • Support decision-making to ensure that the objectives set in the area of Environment, Safety, and Health.
  • Be responsible for safeguarding our physical integrity and that of our colleagues, equipment, assigned tools, and providing a safe work environment for employees and visitors.
  • Be responsible for identifying and making immediate decisions regarding acts and conditions that impact safety and the environment, reporting them promptly to the Supervisor or EHS department.
  • Provide the necessary resources for the operation of the Environmental Management Systems.

Job Profile:



  • EDUCATION: Accountant or similar.
  • LANGUAGE: Advanced English.
  • EXPERIENCE: Experience as Finance Manager at least 5 years.
