Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Marriott International. This role is responsible for providing exceptional support to our culinary team, ensuring seamless service delivery and maintaining high standards of food quality and safety.
Main Responsibilities:
- Communicate effectively with the Chef to identify assistance needs during peak periods.
- Monitor and ensure the correctness of appliance and food temperatures, as well as food preparation quantities and portions.
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing.
- Wash and disinfect kitchen areas, including tables, tools, knives, and equipment.
- Prepare and cook food to meet quality standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and preparation procedures.
