- Team Leadership: Supervise and lead multidisciplinary engineering teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment, providing technical guidance and leading the professional development of the team.
- Technological Development: Evaluate, select, and implement emerging technologies to enhance efficiency and quality in the manufacturing of orthopedic products, leading in the innovation of process technologies to maintain the technological competitiveness of the company.
- Process Optimization: Identify and execute initiatives to optimize production processes, improving product quality, improving equipment reliability, and reducing costs, leading asset life cycle management, and implementing lean principles in process and equipment design.
- Project Management: Oversee the execution of engineering projects, ensuring timely delivery and within the established budget, implementing effective project management methodologies and best practices.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all activities performed comply with relevant quality, regulatory, and safety regulations, and standards.
- A history of utilizing Statistical Techniques, Lean, and Problem-Solving methodologies such as Six Sigma, Shainin, Kepner-Tregoe, etc.
- Minimum of 5 years leading a technical organization
- Minimum of a bachelor's degree in engineering and master's degree in engineering preferred
- Effectively communicates in English both in verbal and written form
- Experience in MedTech industry or regulated industry preferred
