We are seeking a skilled Laundry Attendant to join our team at The Westin Resort & Spa Puerto Vallarta. As a key member of our Housekeeping and Laundry department, you will be responsible for operating and monitoring washing, dry cleaning, and drying machinery, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor washing, drying, and dry cleaning machinery, including adding chemicals and cleaning lint traps.
- Inspect cleanliness of articles removed from the washer, dryer, or dry-cleaning machines and place in clean linen carts.
- Set dryers to designated times and temperatures based on fabrics contained in load.
- Remove lint and debris from dryer screens, dry cleaning filters, and drain trap after each load.
- Fold cleaned articles into designated size, either by hand or using folding machine.
- Maintain accurate records of items laundered.
Requirements:
- Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures.
- Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager.
- Complete safety training and certifications.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others.
- Support team to reach common goals.
