**The Opportunity**
This is a remote position that requires occasional on-site presence for onboarding and training. As a Cost Estimator, you will play a critical role in our team, working closely with our Design, Engineering, and Sales teams to provide accurate estimates and solutions for our clients.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Collect, analyze, and follow up on information from internal teams to work on multiple estimates per week.
- Obtain all required information to quote clients' needs and provide alternative solutions if needed.
- Interpret renderings or sketch drawings to calculate complete estimates with yields, call-outs, and assumptions for use by Project Management.
- Review and understand clients' contracts and specifications to transpose estimates into comprehensive and understandable written summaries.
**Requirements**
- Experience in Estimating, Process Engineering, or related product manufacturing cost analysis and estimation.
- Expertise in verifying and revising estimates, taking into account new and changing information such as production location, materials, and delivery dates.
- Critical thinking skills to investigate and suggest alternative production methods and improve designs to optimize manufacturing cost-effectiveness.
