Your Role
As a Global Manufacturing Engineer - Industrialization Lead, you will be responsible for leading the industrialization of global products from the award phase up to series production. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Leading and managing the industrialization of global products, ensuring that all requirements are met and that production lines are optimized for efficiency and quality.
- Developing and enforcing proper requirements management processes to ensure that all stakeholders are aligned and that production meets the required standards.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement production line concepts that meet the needs of the business.
- Creating and maintaining project schedules and ensuring that all milestones are met.
- Driving and tracking P-FMEA processes to ensure that all products meet the required safety and quality standards.
- Planning, defining, procuring, and tracking needed process technology and equipment for production.
- Participating in escalation meetings with customers and program management to ensure that all issues are resolved in a timely manner.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- A Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline.
- At least 5 years of work experience in the automotive industry, preferably in manufacturing engineering.
- Bilingual proficiency in English, with the ability to speak, read, and write fluently.
- Excellent project management skills and the ability to work in a global network environment.
- Outstanding knowledge of lean concepts and the ability to apply them in a manufacturing environment.
