Job Summary

The HR Technology Lead plays a pivotal role in supporting AutoZone's use of HR systems and software to drive business results. This position serves as a liaison between the business and IT, ensuring seamless collaboration and effective utilization of HR technology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Team Management: Lead a team of programmers and analysts, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure the successful execution of HR technology initiatives.
  • HR System Management: Oversee the functional and data integrity of HR systems, ensuring compliance with data security and privacy requirements.
  • Business Intelligence and Reporting: Develop and implement enterprise reporting strategies, utilizing statistical, reporting, and data modeling software to drive business insights and decision-making.
  • Technical Support and Administration: Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance to HR employees, ensuring timely resolution of technical issues.
  • Process Improvement and Automation: Drive automation and process improvement efforts, centralizing HRIS functions and enhancing overall efficiency.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: A Bachelor's degree in HR, Economics, Business, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field, with 5-7 years of experience in HR technology and business systems analysis.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, SAS, Excel, and Python, with experience in data modeling, statistical analysis, and business intelligence.
  • Soft Skills: Strong communication, interpersonal, and project management skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and drive results.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's Degree: A Master's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field is preferred.
  • Industry Experience: Experience with Oracle, PeopleSoft, SAP, and/or Workday or similar HR systems is highly desirable.
