We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Operations Specialist to join our team at General Motors. This role will be responsible for supporting relationship management with logistics suppliers and service providers, ensuring business objectives are met or exceeded in all areas.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Execute deliverables in support of the logistics organization's business objectives.
- Provide support to one of the key areas within Logistics and/or Containers organization to ensure business objectives are met or exceeded in all areas.
- Communicate within the function as well as other functions, external affiliates, regulatory agencies.
- Support relationship management with logistics suppliers and service providers.
- Influence others within the organization to accept new concepts, practices, and approaches.
- Identify problems, update or modify work methods that may be complex in the work area without the benefit of defined procedures.
- Promote GM's values and make customer-focused decisions.
**Additional Responsibilities**
- Monitor and manage import units that come to Mexico by ship, train, and godmother, from point of origin to final destination.
- Import and export.
- Work with different areas, national and foreign plants, quality.
- Development and monitoring of compliance with KPI's.
- Departures and arrivals report.
- Inventory leveling.
- Deal with suppliers and carriers.
**Requirements**
- Advanced English language skills.
- Proficiency in Power BI/Office.
- Ability to travel occasionally.
