**Job Summary**

We're seeking a highly skilled Business Systems Analyst to join our team. In this role, you'll be responsible for participating in business enhancements on our Global Merchant Accounting System (GMAS), back-end processing, and ancillary systems. You'll interact with internal clients to gather and define business and functional requirements for large initiatives, analyze complex system problems, and offer alternative business solutions.

  • Collaborate with development teams to design new and enhanced system functionality
  • Communicate business and functional specifications to teams and stakeholders
  • Facilitate meetings and lead discussions
  • Proactively look for opportunities to improve the system
  • Stay current with industry trends and expand technical expertise
  • Act as a Product Owner and lead projects through the entire SDLC
  • Provide oversight and perform gap analysis of project deliverables
  • Assess changes to requirements or scope requested by business partners
  • Plan, document, execute, and support User Acceptance Testing efforts
  • Direct the work of other Business Analysts and provide mentoring and/or training as needed

**Requirements**

  • In-depth knowledge of the Merchant Acquiring Business Domain
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to push creative thinking beyond existing industry practices and client mindsets
  • Highly effective written and oral communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • 5-7 years of experience in a Business Systems Analyst role within an IT organization
  • Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies
