About the Role
SailPoint is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing multiple projects, developing professional working relationships, and interacting with peers and customers at all levels within an organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare project plans, meet with internal teams and customers on a weekly basis, track progress and deliverable completion, maintain project status, forecast, and budget reporting.
- Document project risks and issues, and proactively resolve unexpected issues.
- Manage project stakeholders and customer expectations, ensuring customer concerns, risks, and requirements are anticipated, documented, and resolved proactively.
- Assist engagement managers with maintaining project scope and address any change order needs promptly, as applicable.
- Provide accurate updates on project progress to customers and SailPoint management.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional work experience as part of a Software, SaaS, or consulting company, including 3+ years of formal project manager experience.
- Excellent organization and communication skills.
- Experience working with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
- Experience with essential project management duties (project planning, managing budgets, monitoring project scope, owning stakeholder communication, and risk management).
- Experience managing projects across multiple teams and geographies to ensure projects are delivered to specification, on-time, and within budget.
Preferred Qualifications
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM).
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
