- Contract Management: Prepare and negotiate contracts with suppliers to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Supplier Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
- Cost Savings: Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives to reduce procurement costs.
- Process Improvement: Continuously improve procurement processes and procedures to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and develop procurement strategies to meet those needs.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or Procurement. Master's Degree preferred.
- Experience: 7-10 years of progressively responsible procurement and supplier management experience.
- Skills: Advanced negotiation skills, ability to develop successful relationships with internal and external customers, excellent communication skills, and experience with six sigma and lean initiatives.
- Qualifications: Requires a strong understanding of legal concepts and principles as they relate to confidentiality, service, investigator, and consulting agreements.
