Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Supply Chain Practitioner to join our team. As a Supply Chain Practitioner, you will be responsible for managing purchased material requirements and ensuring material availability when needed. You will work closely with the procurement team to develop and maintain planning data, coordinate with buyers on capacity, and collaborate with manufacturing production schedulers on demand and status.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage purchased material requirements and ensure material availability when needed.
- Develop and maintain planning data with MRP, order release process, and coordination with buyers on capacity.
- Collaborate with buyers on ordering technique and communication of shortage, as well as coordination with manufacturing production schedulers on demand and status.
- Investigate schedule delays and establish and communicate revised schedules.
- Work with the business to prioritize enterprise requirements based on need, and reschedule purchased material commit dates.
- Provide input to buyers on supplier delivery performance and maintain data accuracy in the ERP system.
- Actively involved in the change configuration process and responsible for establishing purchased part implementation dates.
- Facilitate collaboration between engineering, operations, supply chain, and change control personnel to ensure on-time successful change implementation.
- Monitor revision changes of purchased parts into supermarkets with suppliers and production schedulers in manufacturing, and work with buyers as necessary.
- Actively involved in projects in support of business objectives, such as cost reductions, inventory reduction initiatives, lead-time reduction, Lean manufacturing, and 6-sigma.
Requirements:
- Working towards a Bachelor's degree.
- Strong English oral and written communication skills.
- Computer/system skills, with an emphasis on MS Excel and ERP systems.
- Scheduling and organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities.
- Knowledge of inventory and planning, and a basic understanding of manufacturing operations.
Working Conditions:
This is a full-time position, working 6 months to 1 year, from 7 am to 12 pm or 12 pm to 5 pm, Monday to Friday.
