About This Opportunity

Baxter is transforming its global IT function to strengthen partnerships and enable smarter, more efficient and connected business processes. We are seeking a Business Analyst, IT-Finance, to own the support for existing and new systems and processes.



Key Responsibilities

This role will serve as a consultant to the business to translate business requirements into processes or technical systems solutions. You will work with business partners and IT to enhance the quality of IT products and services. Key responsibilities include:



  • Partnering with business, product owners and tech delivery and operations teams to gather, understand, and document business objectives, specifications, and requirements on small/medium size projects.
  • Managing User Acceptance Testing across processes and projects; managing development and execution of unit/system test cases, scripts, and plans.
  • Collaborating with business across all data management needs. Defining, articulating, and implementing business rules required for data accuracy and consistency. Identifying and resolving data quality issues. Acting as the primary SME for the data management process between IT developers and the business.
  • Identifying, analyzing, implementing, and documenting appropriate functional solutions and business flows for problems and issues that may impact small/medium Business and IT projects. Proposing and implementing solutions that may impact day-to-day operations and/or project costs. Using technical tools for (queries, process maps, etc) for problem resolution.
  • Communicating status, solutions, and concerns. Disseminating information in a timely manner within the team and across functions or teams using structured communication plans. Establishing and maintaining relationships within the business or function. Managing Organizational Change Management effort/cycle. Collaborating with the Finance team when necessary.
  • Managing and coordinating training of others as appropriate on specific areas of business or systems expertise. Owning the development of training materials.
