Job Title: Sr Business Analyst

Location: Guadalajara/Mexico City (Hybrid)

Job Type: Full Time

We are seeking an experienced Sr Business Analyst to lead our organizational analysis efforts. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst and will be responsible for identifying current capabilities, opportunities for improvement, and driving measurement, prioritization, and implementation of identified opportunities.

The successful candidate will gather business requirements that affect technology systems, engage with technology partners to develop solutions through the technology change process, and write, communicate, and vet requirements and user stories with business leaders using different approaches such as use cases, activity diagrams, sequence diagrams, and state charts. They will also identify and manage stakeholders and teams of people across functional areas to implement a project, work effectively inside a Scrum or Kanban team, and create and maintain system and user documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead organizational analysis efforts to identify current capabilities and opportunities for improvement
  • Gather business requirements that affect technology systems
  • Engage with technology partners to develop solutions through the technology change process
  • Write, communicate, and vet requirements and user stories with business leaders
  • Identify and manage stakeholders and teams of people across functional areas to implement a project
  • Work effectively inside a Scrum or Kanban team
  • Create and maintain system and user documentation

Requirements:

  • 4 Year college degree (Bachelor) or equivalent work experience
  • 7+ years of Agile experience
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Strong teamwork mentality, including mentorship of junior analysts
  • Highly proficient in the G-Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc)
  • Data analysis experience a plus
  • Knowledge of BI Tools a plus
  • Knowledge of JIRA, Confluence, or similar tools required
