- Collaborate with development teams to ensure that quality requirements are met in series and pre-series productions.
- Provide technical support for risk analysis and evaluation to maintain product quality.
- Validate product quality within component tolerances, involving development and PQA teams.
- Support value stream activities regarding product technical issues and product release, with high collaboration with design departments.
- Participate in new product introductions, actively collaborating with MFE on projects and new releases.
- Fulfill APQP planning, including EWAK runs, Pre-PV's PV, and SOP.
- Develop training materials for technicians, product focus, and failure mode analysis.
- Align with value stream main KPI's.
- Design procedures, instructions, and training materials for analyst technicians.
- Ensure manufacturing process compliance with engineering principles, customer requirements, Bosch standards, and process specifications.
- Train and instruct production and technical personnel.
- Analyze and identify product characteristics deviated due to product/raw material variation to avoid/reduce metrics impact.
- Define margin samples for quality criteria according to risk analysis and development confirmation product quality within material variation with development and PQA.
- Evaluate risk on concession via quality procedures.
- Get involved in the process to define, acquire, transfer, accept, validate, release, and install production process and equipment for failure analysis according to Bosch standards.
- Fulfill APQP planning, including EWAK runs, Pre-PV's PV, and SOP.
- Participate actively with MFE on projects and new releases.
- Participate with lead plant/development on manufacturing process definition, product handling, cycle time, hardware design, etc.
- Participate in PFMEA and control plan for assigned process, new and current.
- Education: B.S. degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering.
- Advanced English.
- Knowledge of instrumentation equipment: oscilloscope, millimeter, frequency analyzer, counters, DSP cards, data acquisition, test stand, LabVIEW, test sequencer, virtual instrumentation.
- Full knowledge of electronics: analog, digital, communications protocols: CAN, I2C, and serial asynchronous and synchronous.
- Handling and programming scanners: data logic, Cognex, Keyence.
- High and low-level programming skills: PC programming C++, C#, and related, oriented to object programming.
- Database programming and setup.
- Knowledge in pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
