We are seeking a highly skilled Industrial Cybersecurity Solutions Engineer to join our global team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, building, deploying, and sustaining security solutions across all Johnson Controls facilities.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse group of professionals to develop and execute our enterprise approach to manage cyber threats and compliance risks in Operation Technology (OT) environments.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer engineering, computer security or computer science discipline and 3-5 years of experience working with teams in security operations, incident analysis, network design, and implementing best practices.

A key aspect of this role will be to provide technical expertise on projects, handle troubleshooting and escalations, and enhance relationships with internal and external partners.

This position requires the ability to create and maintain good business relationships with counterparts, customers, and external entities to achieve the security engineering management goals.

The salary for this role is estimated to be around $120,000-$180,000 per year, depending on location and experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, deploy, and sustain security solutions across the global manufacturing footprint
  • Provide governance and ensure adherence to security best practices and JCI policies
  • Manage tasks across a wide range of critical priorities and balance sustaining work with project work
  • Provide technical expertise on projects, handle troubleshooting and escalations
  • Enhance relationships with internal and external partners

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, computer security or computer science discipline
  • 3-5 years of information security related experience working with teams in security operations, incident analysis, network design, and implementing best practices
  • Strong verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to create and maintain good business relationships with counterparts, customers, and external entities
  • Fundamental understanding of IT and OT network communication protocols
