Key Responsibilities
- Recruit, select, train, assign, schedule, coach, counsel, and discipline employees
- Communicate job expectations, plan, monitor, appraise, and review job contributions
- Plan and review compensation actions, enforce policies and procedures
- Contribute operations information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews
- Prepare and complete action plans, implement production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards
- Resolve problems, complete audits, identify trends, and forecast requirements
- Prepare an annual operations budget, schedule expenditures, analyze variances, and initiate corrective actions
- Develop operations systems, determine product handling and storage requirements, and develop processes for receiving product, equipment utilization, inventory management, and shipping
- Analyze process workflow, employee and space requirements, and equipment layout, and implement changes
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering General
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions
- Experience in operations management, preferably in a manufacturing environment
