About this opportunity:
- We are seeking an experienced Accounting Specialist to join our team in Mexico. This role is a full-time position with a competitive salary range of $45,000-$60,000 per year, depending on experience.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Performing Record to Report (RTR) activities to ensure quality and timeliness of core accounting tasks
- Delivering key Controllership objectives while supporting the Mission & Vision of Carrier Corporation Finance
- Engaging with internal and external business partners on critical projects and processes to streamline RTR activities
- Performing specific RTR activities and processes ensuring quality results and reporting
You will be successful in this role if you have:
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Knowledge of accounting standards (GAAP or IFRS)
