About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sourcing Lead to join our team at Polaris Inc. As a key member of our sourcing team, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing sourcing strategies for assigned categories, aligning with our broader long-term category vision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies for assigned categories, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Lead contract negotiations and implementations, including MSAs and MOUs, to secure contractual commitments and achieve cost savings.
  • Evaluate supplier capability and fit, working with cross-functional teams to recommend new potential suppliers for our Approved Supplier List (ASL).
  • Support localization efforts through supplier identification, vetting, and on-boarding processes, aligning with category strategy.
  • Collaborate with category sourcing on strategy development and supplier relationships, implementing cost reductions and projects as needed.
  • Support supplier on-boarding plans and exit plans, ensuring seamless transitions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or Business Administration, with 4+ years of sourcing or relevant professional experience.
  • Self-starter with effective negotiation, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to represent Polaris professionally.
  • Highly organized and effective in managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering documentation and technical data.
  • Experience in presentation abilities, including PowerPoint development, with ability to present to cross-functional leaders.
