**Key Responsibilities:**
• Drive audits and suppliers' qualification to ensure compliance with quality standards
• Implement continuous improvement actions, such as Lean Manufacturing, Scrap Reduction, Design Improvements, and Capability Improvements
• Collaborate with suppliers and plant SQA to implement effective corrective action and performance improvement plans
• Conduct Quality/System/Technical Assessments to determine supplier quality system effectiveness
• Develop and implement action plans to address gaps in supplier quality systems
• Participate in commodity strategy development and provide quality detail to support implementation
• Analyze quality data to determine supplier performance levels and drive action plans
**Requirements:**
• Bachelor's degree in engineering discipline or related field
• Minimum 8 years of experience in supplier quality/development, with 3 years in ISO/IATF16949 Quality Management Systems
• Strong knowledge of quality tools, including PPAP, APQP, MSA, SPC, and senior auditor
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with ability to work cross-functionally and think strategically
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a supervisory and/or management role
**Preferred Qualifications:**
• Six Sigma Blackbelt or Greenbelt certification
• ASQ Certified Quality Manager (CQM), ASQ Certified Quality Auditor (CQA), and/or ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE)
• Direct customer interface and complaint resolution experience
• Knowledge of cost control, budgeting, and fixed asset planning
• Strong human relations skills to establish and maintain effective work relationships
